How do you facilitate the knowledge transfer?

What are the cooperation models?

Typically, we work in one of the three cooperation models: vertical, horizontal, or hybrid.   In a vertical cooperation model, we work in a feature-based system architecture on delivering a particular set of components across different competencies like front-end, mobile, and backend development led by the PMO/UX team. In this approach, we take technical responsibility for a given business area. This approach is the quickest and most efficient in terms of delivering business value.   In the horizontal cooperation model, we take responsibility for the whole layer/tech chapter. If you have your backend development team, we can take care of the mobile development based on Flutter and lead all mobile-related efforts. This approach is recommended when you want to outsource the whole set of skills and are not interested in building them on your own.   In a hybrid mode, our teams work together in business squads, hand-at-hand, participate in joint meetings, and form one universal team that focuses on delivering business value. This approach focuses on knowledge transfer and ensuring that the in-house team gets a boost in skills and experience in particular technologies. Due to the educational value, this approach may be slower in terms of the business results in the beginning, but it pays off in the long run in increased overall efficiency of the team.

We need to consult our architecture. Can we do that?

Very often, we start our engagement with technical workshops on System Architecture. Depending on the size of the projects, those workshops can take between a few days to a few months and are a great possibility to warm up and find the alignment between the teams before starting with the full-time engagement.

What are your hourly rates?

Hourly rates for Developers and IT Experts differ in the seniority of a particular team member, availability, size, length of the project, and allocation (full-time vs. flexible engagement). Typically, we start the engagement within two weeks of signing the contract and wiring the prepayment. Contact our sales team to get a quote that is specific to your needs.

Can you provide some part-time experts to be the sparring partners for our team?

We have observed that our business partners often need to hire part-time experts for the initial stages of the project when they welcome input from external advisors/consultants. Therefore, our team is available for our clients for flexible engagements, where they are dedicated to part-time assignments to run workshops and consulting sessions on topics like app architecture, security audits, design system workshops, etc.

Can you help us with the recruitment and reskilling of our team?

We have started the official university courses dedicated to Flutter and Domain Driven Design at the Warsaw University of Technology. For this purpose, we’ve created a curriculum to train and upskill developers of all backgrounds to familiarize them with mobile programming and system architecture. Therefore, we are able to train both the mobile and backend developers to give your team confidence in the tech they seek.
